We had 4 wonderful weeks Jan/Feb 2020 staying in Casa Esquina del Mar.We have stayed at this accommodation several times and always enjoy it.It has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area, bedroom area and a good sized bathroom.The apartment is accessed by a private internal staircase from the owners downstairs property and you have a key to the external door.The outside space of the apartment is large and wrap around.There are views of the ocean, the village ,and the volcano’s.The ocean is literally feet away from the property ,there are times when you are on the balcony if it is a little breezy that you may get a bit of sea spray.Wonderful.As the balcony is south facing you get sun all day and late into the evening.There is some very comfortable outside furniture and a hot tub.It’s wonderful to sit in the hot tub with a glass or two of cold Cava listening to and watching the waves or looking at the stars there is hardly any light pollution. You also get to see the cruise ships passing in the distance.The owners of this piece of paradise are Filip and Carinna. They speak excellent English and are friendly and good company.Very good at making you feel at home ,and nothing is too much trouble for them, but they leave you to get on with your holiday unless you need them.Visit them if you want ,peace ,quiet beautiful views and if you like walking, well this is the place to be.As there are no shops or bars in Los Cocoteros you need a car to get about.We have already booked to go back next year and look forward to seeing Filip, Carinna and their beautiful daughters Amina and Azima.
